"Debra Lynn Roberts, 62, of Sharpsburg Maryland, passed away on April 29 2021. Debra was born in January 25 1959 in Olney MD to the late Donald Howard and Nellie (Flores) Payne. She graduated from Rockville High School, class of 1977. She then went on to become a bus driver, and then work in Human Resources.
Debra moved in the shadows but she shined like the sun and one look at the sparkle in her eyes said it all. She was as sweet as honey, and loved her family and friends deeply.
In addition to her loving husband of 44 years, Michael Roberts Sr., Debra is survived by her two sons Michael Jr and Christopher Roberts. A Granddaughter, Sydney Roberts; her significant other Ray Wenger, and her two great grandchildren Beau and Harper Wenger. A brother Randy Payne, a sister Robin (Payne) Claggett, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
She is preceded in death by sister Donna (Payne) Dobson, and niece Christy Carter Lynch.
A visitation will be held 11am-1pm Thursday, May 6 2021 at Resthaven Funeral Home & Community Center, followed by burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mtn Hwy (US 15 N) Frederick MD."
