Cynthia Marie Harvey of Des Moines, Iowa passed away on Tuesday May 4th, 2021 at Mercy Hospital, with her family by her side.
Cindy was born on April 1st, 1963. She was the daughter of Eunice and Jerry Corbin. She attended Delaware Elementary and graduated from Southeast Polk High School in 1981.
Cindy worked at Payless Shoes for 27 years.
On August 2nd, 2003 Cindy married Andy Harvey.
Cindy loved to go camping, traveling, spending time with her family, playing cards, going to the movies, and out to eat.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry & Eunice Corbin, her father-in-law Dean Harvey and the father of her 3 children, David Welch.
Left to cherish Cindy's memory is her husband Andy, daughter Amy (Joel) Klapproth of Altoona, daughter Amanda (Jacob) Carpenter of Des Moines & son Jon (Crystal) Welch of Des Moines. Two brothers Jerry (Rita) Corbin of Grimes IA and Jim (Sonia) Corbin of San Diego CA. Grandchildren Travis, Adam, Collin, Bradley, Amber, Landon, Lillyana, Breana and Brenden.
Visitation will be held Monday May 10th, 2021, at Iles Grandview Funeral Home 3211 Hubbell Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317, from 9:30 am to 11am. Funeral will be at 11am and burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens at One NE 60th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313.
