Stacy was born in Hillsboro, Texas, to Vernie & Dolores (Read) Stringer September 28, 1960 and lost her courageous battle with Cancer May 4, 2021 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday May 15th at 11:00 am, Texoma Cowboy Church located on U.S. 281 south, Wichita Falls.
She was preceded in death by her father and is survived by her husband of 26 years, Harold Richardson of Wichita Falls; Her mother, Dolores Stringer, sister Sherri Frost, niece Shannon Manietta and husband Mike, great niece Emma Manietta and boyfriend C. J. Elam all of Diamond Illinois; Brother-in-Law Charles Richardson & wife Sharon of Spring Branch, Texas; Stepson Chad Richardson & wife Deanna of Granbury, Texas; Stepdaughter Christal Wehrmann and husband Lee of LaRue, Texas , and numerous other relatives . She also leaves a countless number of friends behind in the horse world, dog world, Dean area and throughout the State.
Stacy loved all of God's animals, especially if they had four legs and were furry.
Stacy felt closest to God in the open air of his creation tending to the animals he placed in her charge. She rarely met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone who asked and sometimes without them asking.
She said it was one of our duties to always try to bring a smile to at least one person each and every day. A smile was good, bringing a laugh was better and if you could get someone to laugh until they cried, you made it to an "AAA DAY."
Stacy competed in numerous horse shows and dog shows. Her competition was always with herself and she used it to find shortcomings in her training, not for the recognition. She never wanted to be the center of attention.
In lieu of Flowers, she always said donations to the Clay County Animal Shelter of Henrietta, Texas or any non-profit shelter of your choosing would be her preference.
A special thanks from the family goes to the Ladies of Healing Hands of Wichita Falls for the care and fellowship they showed Stacy this past year, the staff of Hospice of Wichita Falls and those who assisted Stacy through their calls, text, visits and other services they performed.
