Kenneth was born on January 8th 1925 in Amityville, New York to John and Lucy Powell. The youngest of 5 children. He was a US Navy Veteran and served during WW ll in the Pacific. He then went on to graduate from Syracuse University as an accountant.
While he was in college, he met his future bride, Alma Grotjohn. Together they raised a family, living these years in Erie, PA. Upon retirement, they moved to Lady Lake, FL. Where they lived out their retirement.
Left behind to cherish his memories are 3 sons, Robert, Edward and Gary. Preceding him in death was his wife of 67 years, Alma in 2015.
