Elaine Marie Fleming, age 79, of Bristol, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at NHC Healthcare Center of Bristol, Virginia. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late John Stellman and Margaret Agnes Hudak Stellman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Joann Rader.

Elaine was a member of South Bristol United Methodist Church where she was involved with the United Methodist Women. She was a Registered Nurse having worked with Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, Ashboro Hospital, Holston Valley Medical Center as a home health nurse. She worked as a Registered Nurse until the age of 73. She was involved with Revolution War Reenactments and loved crafting.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bill Fleming; one daughter, Margaret Anne "Meg" Locklear and husband, Dallas; one grandson, Clifton Locklear; two brothers, Dennis Stellman and John Stellman and wife, Mary; two sisters-in-law, Ann Utt and Rose Parker and husband, Johnny; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 5 until 7 p.m. at South Bristol United Methodist Church, 1801 Southside Avenue, Bristol, Tenn. Funeral Service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Ray Amos officiating. Anyone unable to attend the service is invited to view the livestream of the service by visiting https://www.facebook.com/MonteVistaMemorial/

Committal Service and Interment will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Mountain Home National Cemetery, 215 Heroes Drive, Mountain Home, Tenn. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Due to COVID-19, for everyone's protection, all visitors are required to wear a mask and social distancing will be observed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to South Bristol United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women fund, 1801 Southside Avenue, Bristol, TN 37620.
