Death of the Oldest Man In the Northwest - Louis Bible, one of the oldest settlers in Tippecanoe county, and conceded the oldest man in the Northwest, and perhaps in the Union, died at his residence in Jackson township, on Thursday last. He was one hundred and seven years of age. He was born in the Colony of Virginia, in 1756. He has sons over seventy years of age. He retained his faculties to a remarkable degree beyond his ninetieth year, and his sight and hearing were not much impaired at the time of his death. The funeral took place on Christmas day. - [Lafayette (Ind.) Courier.
