A celebration of life service for Mr. Lee Rogers Davis, Jr. will be held on Saturday May 8th , 2021 at 12:30 p.m. at New Life Tabernacle, 6912 Williams Road Seffner, FL Senior Pastor Daniel M. Davey with Pastor Rashidi F. Collins, Officiating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Tampa, Florida.

Mr. Lee Rogers Davis Jr was born in Tampa, Florida on February 8, 1983 to the parentage of Lee Rogers Davis Sr. and Karen Peoples. Lee attended Hillsborough County Public Schools and graduated from Hillsborough High School, Class of 2001. He received a certificate of completion for Forklift Class at The Academy of Hope. On Friday April 23, 2021, Lee transitioned from his earthly home to his Heavenly home to be with his father. Lee, also known as Rickey to some, was a loving and caring person. He was loved by his close friends and family. He adored his sisters Miesha and Iesha. Lee looked up to his brother Craig, and he was crazy about his nieces and nephew and did not play about his mom and grandma. Lee will be missed by all who loved him.

Lee was preceded in death by his father, Lee Rogers Davis Sr; grandfather, Albert Young Sr; grandmother, Viola Davis and uncle, Albert Young Jr.

Lee leaves loving memories for his family to share with loving mother, Karen Peoples; grandmother, Isabel Morsley; sisters, Le'Quondra I. Davis and Le'Shondra M. Davis; brother, Craig Peoples; loving and devoted girlfriend, Ariel Jenkins; nephews, Jamarious Davis, Richard Howard Jr and Dwan Peoples; nieces, Jan'yah Long, and Destiny McKenzie; special little person, Makai Irvin; aunties, Tara Perrin (Donnovan), Rosa Lee Austin (Leon), Annie Laura Turner and Paulette Woodall (Marti); uncle, Ralph Malone Sr; godmother, Betty Benjamin (Thomas); god brothers and sisters, Mark Farris (Evelynn), Horace Donald, Antonio Wallace, Tracy Senateus (Ernst), Tamara Brinkley, Marie Adams (Charlie), Lisa Allen, Ilene Cobb (Michael); special cousins, Lester Weaver (Laurie), India Gaynor (Robert), Topeka Williams (Alvin), Mary Leonard and Diamond Leonard; a host of cousins; family and friends including, Caron Young, Albert Young, Keisean Young and the entire Young family, Jenkins family, Peaches Whitehead, France Whitehead, C. Blythe Andrews family; special brotherhood, Jerry Gibson, Chris Vann, Jason Russell, Broderick Green, Donta Hamilton, Amar Duley and Rawn "Fly" Brooks, Larry Johnson, Donald Mason and other sorrowing relatives and friends.

There will be a viewing on Friday May 7th , 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Due to the current CDC restrictions; we are asking that you use the visitation as an opportunity to pay your final respect. For your convenience and safety, we have extended our visitation hours.
