YORK Harold M. Klineyoung, Sr., 87, of Springettsbury Twp., died Monday, July 24, 2006, at York Hospital. He was the husband of Irene E. (Witmer) Klineyoung to whom he was married 68 years. Mr. Klineyoung was born April 20, 1919, in Stewartstown, a son of the late Harry R. and Clare (Miller) Klineyoung.
He retired in 1978 from the Naval Depot Supply in Mechanicsburg and previously had
worked at the Naval Ordnance Plant in York. He was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran. Harold was a member of VFW Post 7045, Kreutz Creek; and a life member of the Victory A.A., Girard A.A., and the Hawk Club.
The viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Ave., York. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard B. Starr officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with military honors by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. In addition to his wife, He was predeceased by a grandson, Ronnie Lee Beecroft; and a sister, Mary Klineyoung.
