Dora Lopez Mejia, 90 of Trenton has been accepted into God's loving embrace on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. A beautiful woman of God and faith, Mrs. Lopez Mejia was passionate about reading the bible, going to church, and spending time with her family and church family as well. She also enjoyed cooking for family and friends.
Predeceased by her husband, Juan Lopez Retana, son, Edgar Anibal Lopez, and brothers; Daniel, Hernan, and Reynaldo Mejia.
Left to cherish her wonderful memory is her long time companion, Victor Manuel Arevalo, loving children; Edmundo Lopez (Yolanda), Luis Arevalo (Justina), caring siblings in Guatemala; Elias Mejia, Isabel, Teresa, and Mina Mejia, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 4, 2021, 12:00pm (noon) at the Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home, 990 South Broad Street, Trenton, NJ 08611. Visiting hour will be held Thursday morning beginning at 11:00am at the funeral home. To comply with COVID-19 regulations, visitation will be limited to 35 guests at one time, all guests must wear proper face coverings and maintain social distancing. Interment to follow at Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton Township. Arrangements under the auspices of David C. Chiacchio and the compassionate staff of the Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home.
