Evelyn Fay McLean, 92, of Blue Rock, Ohio formerly of Roseville died at 6:43 AM, Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at her residence.

She was born May 27, 1928 in McLuney, the daughter of the late John M. and Edith (nee: Riffle) Rosser.

Evelyn was a former pottery worker at Hull Pottery Company in Crooksville and Nelson McCoy Pottery in Zanesville and also a former employee of Essex Wire in Zanesville.

For enjoyment, Evelyn loved to crochet and knit items for her family and friends. She took great pride in her flower gardens and worked hard to make them beautiful. She always loved a good card game, Euchre, Poker or Hearts and she played almost weekly with her siblings.

Evelyn was a member of Christ Church in Crooksville.

Left behind to mourn her passing is her son, Jerry McLean; her granddaughter and caregiver, Jessica Fox; 14 additional grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 10 great great-grandchildren; her siblings, Shirley Wilson, Sandra (Jim) Savage, Diana (Kenny) Harris, Roger (Lou) Rosser and Larry (Judie) Rosser; her daughter-in-law, Hetty McLean and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald J. McLean who died Dec. 2, 1992; her children, Vicky Dorsey, David McLean, Wayne Mclean, and Jeffrey McLean; her siblings, Pat Stover, JoAnna Bateson, Judy Thomas, Eleanor Starner, Richard, John, William, Gary, Jimmy, Donald, and Ronald Rosser; her daughters-in-law, Sheila McLean, Shirley McLean and son-in-law, Mike Dozer.

Evelyn's family will receive visitors 10 AM-2 PM, Friday, May 7, 2021 at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville where funeral services will begin at 2 PM with Pastor Stan McHenry as celebrant.

Evelyn will be laid to rest next to her husband in Iliff Cemetery in McLuney.
