Phyllis Lee (James) McCarty, age 87 of Lexington, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. Daughter of the late William David and Mary Florence (Gardner) James, she was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Faith Fellowship. Phyllis was preceded in death by two half-brothers, Forrest Gilmore James and Ralph Menice James.

Funeral Service: 3 PM on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Lisa Wood.
Interment: New Castle Cemetery
