Teresa Elizabeth Williams (Terry, TB, Terry Beth) died January 24, 2021 in New York City. She was 67. Born on October 7, 1953 in Knoxville, Tennessee, Terry grew up in Norris Tennessee and attended Norris Elementary and Norris High School.

Following a family vacation to the World's Fair in New York in the 60's she knew she wanted to live in New York City. She moved there shortly after graduating from the University of Tennessee. She worked for the American Society of Civil Engineers as a meeting and convention planner until they moved their headquarters out of New York and then as a technical writer, editor, and procedures specialist for Con Edison until her retirement several years ago.

Throughout her retirement she was an active member of the Community Affairs Committee and loved her role putting together the Performing Arts Group calendar of activities. Even during the pandemic she orchestrated outdoor performances for the residents. She also served several terms on the nominating committee for the Hudson View Gardens Board. She and Ira have lived at Hudson View Gardens since 1997.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Ora Jean Rea Williams, and father James Braswell Williams.

She is survived by her husband, Ira Hozinsky of New York, New York, her sister Melissa (Missy) Williams Tortora of Norris, Tennessee, many well-loved cousins, and a host of friends.

Plans for a celebration of life will be made when it is safe for family and friends to gather.
