Margaret Miranda Russell, age 85 of Cookeville passed away Wednesday May 5, 2021 at NHC of Cookeville. She was born January 14, 1936 in Cookeville to the late Henry Winters Howard and Zeta Ann Randolph Howard.
Margaret was retired from Wilson Sporting Goods.
She is survived by two sons: Shane (Paula) Allison of Cookeville and Olen Allison of Baxter; step daughter: Christy (Darryl) Bradley of Murfreesboro; grandchildren: Dee (Misty) Allison, Sunshine, Justin, Jasper, Shiann Allison, Mindy Bumbalough, Levi Flatt, Christian Horne, and Brett Jones; great grandchildren: Devin and Daniel Allison, La'tyra Bumbalough and Latavius Gist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: James "Rusty" Russell; sons: Ovalin Dee Allison and Billy Byrd Allison; brothers: Raymond, Jasper, and Herman Howard; sisters, Louise and Lorene Howard.
Funeral services were held Saturday May 8, 2021 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Interment followed at Howard Cemetery.
