Charles Shoffner and Bessie Mai Shoffner (Hutson) were twins.HUTSON, Bessie Mai Shoffner - Age 72, April 16, 1991. Preceded in death by husband, Carl H. Hutson. Survived by daughter, Frances H. Young; sons, Carl Thomas Hutson, John Shoffner Hutson; sister, Mary Frances Shoffner, five grandchildren, Carl Thomas Hutson, Jr., William Mark Hutson, Blake Robert Hutson, Lee Anne Young, Amy Marie Young; one great-granddaughter, Ashley Michelle Hutson. Mrs. Hutson was a member of Downtown Presbyterian Church. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 1991 at Forest Lawn Chapel, Dr. Patrick McGeachy officiating. Interment, Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers, Bob Blankenship, Tom Carver, Bob Cooper, Billy Locke, Roy McDonald, Ray Osborne, Andrew Smith, Phillip York. Honorary pallbearers, Dr. Robert Pilkington, Dr. Conn McConnell, Judge Don Washburn, W.E. Officer, Gene Perry, Dave Frazier, Joe Eaton, Leroy Bishop, Session and Circle #1 & 2 of Downtown Presbyterian Church, DAR French Lick Chapter, GRA-MAR Home Demonstration Club, Boy Scout Council Watauga District.
