He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cookie Marlow Watson; children, Kelly Watson of Johnson City, TN and Charlsie Watson-Shaffer of Abingdon, VA; grandson, Cooper Shaffer; special uncle, Eddie Cullop; nephews, Michael Thompson and William Kincer; and special friends, Joe Lester and Warren "Snook" Odum.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 7, 2021, in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Michael Maiden officiating. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery. COVID-19 guidelines are to be observed.
