He passed from this life after an extended illness.

He retired from Monarch Mill (1953-2000). After retirement he spent his time raising and selling goats, rabbits, chickens, eggs and peacocks. For a time he sold fresh milk, home churned butter and buttermilk. In his younger years he loved to coon hunt. He had a special love for all of his animals.

Surviving are his wife, Geraline, of 55 years and children Pam White (Bobby), Vickie Aucoin (Rudolph), Wesley Pruitt (Cheryl) and Kayla Atchley of the home. He was predeceased his son Ricky Jolly, He had eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He also had many nieces and nephews. He also had three children (Sherry, Sara Ann and Jimmy) by his first wife Shelby Jean Reynolds (Sanders).

The family also gives special thanks to Craig, Rocky and the Spartanburg Regional Hospice team.

He was the last member of his immediate family.

Mr. Jimmy E. Pruitt, age 84, of Jonesville/Lockhart Hwy. passed from this life after an extended illness on October 1,2021.

Mr. Pruitt retired from Monarch Mill, being the only place of work in his life. From 1953-2000. Then spent his time raising & selling Goats, Rabbits, Chickens, Eggs & Peacocks. For a time he sold Fresh Milk, home churned Butter & Buttermilk. In his younger years he loved to Coon hunt. He had a special love for all of his animals.

Surviving besides his wife of 55 years. 4 children Pam White (Bobby), Vickie Aucoin(Rudolph), Wesley Pruitt (Cheryl) & Kayla Atchley of the home. PREDECIED by his son Ricky Jolly, 8 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren & 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Many Niece's & Nephews.
