Theresa (Teri) Cox, 68 died peacefully, surrounded by family on February, 19, 2021. She was born in Buffalo, NY to John and Mary Carvalho. As an Air Force family, they lived in Canada, Germany, TX, CA and HI before she graduated from high school in AZ. Teri married Navy sailor, Roger Cox, in Hong Kong and they began their 43 year marriage in San Diego, stationed at Miramar for over a decade. She worked for Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society for over 20 years serving countless service members and their families. Teri was a loving and generous person a wonderful mom, grammy sister, daughter and friend to so many. Teri was preceded in death by her husband, Roger, and is survived by daughters Alisa and Andrea and son Justin; 8 grandchildren and 4 siblings. She will be remembered for her kind heart and infectious laugh. Services pending. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society or the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance.
