SIMPSON, Hale B. — Passed away August 27 in Spokane. His home, Edwall, Washington.

Husband of Mrs. Nancy Simpson, at the home; father of Mrs. Phyllis Munyan, Portland, Oregon, Mrs. Bettie Bundy, Richard Simpson and Robert Simpson, all of Edwall; stepfather of Eldon Warwick, Davenport, Washington; 12 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; brother of Mrs. Hazel Carpenter, Fruitland, Washington, Mrs. Rose King and Dan Simpson, both of Spokane; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A member of the Reardan American Legion, Reardan Masonic Lodge, and the Waukon Grange. A resident of this area 66 years.

Funeral services Friday, August 30, at 11 a.m., in the Alwin Chapel of the Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, N1306 Monroe Street. Burial services, Riverside Memorial Park.

The family suggests memorial gifts may be given to the Edwall United Methodist Church, Edwall, Washington, care of Mrs. Dorothy Monk, treasurer, or the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, N820 Summit Boulevard.
