Shirley Louise (Wolfenbarger) Rose, 67, of McAlester, died Tuesday, May 3, 2021 in Tulsa.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Laura McGee Cemetery in Buffalo Valley.

Shirley was born to Harold and Betty Jo (Hendershot) Wolfenbarger on June 19, 1952 in French Camp, California. She attended school in Stockton, California.

She was a life-long resident of southeast Oklahoma, living between McAlester and Talihina. She was self-employed, owning and operating a cleaning service.

Shirley enjoyed playing bingo and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her father: Harold Wolfenbarger, mother: Betty Jo Blagg, and a granddaughter: Aubrey Calistro.

Shirley is survived by her sons: J.R. Calistro and wife, Lucrecia of McAlester, Joe Calistro of Owasso, Steven Calistro of McAlester; daughter-in-law: Stefanie Calistro of Sulphur; grandchildren: Heather Parker and husband, Ryan, Riley Calistro, Ashton Simms, April Calistro, Emry-Ann Calistro, Axel Calistro, Mitchell Gherke and wife, Jessica, Christina Johnson, Sophia Calistro; great-grandson: Gary Parker; brother: Paul Bradley Wolfenbarger of Stringtown; and other family members and friends.
