Charles Lee Watts, age 85 of Nixa, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021.
He was born January 30, 1936 in Sparta, the son of Charles Ray and Beatrice (Gilbert) Watts.

Charles served his country in the U.S. Army. After his service he worked as a truck driver throughout his life, living most of his life in Denver, Colorado before moving to Elizabeth, Illinois. Charles had moved to Nixa in his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and telling truck driver stories.

Survivors include: his children, Tracy of Clarksville, Arkansas, Melinda of Springfield, Charlie of Commerce City, Colorado and Jennifer of California; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a brother, Jimmie of Nixa.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Pat Ingalsbe; and a grandson, David Watts.

Cremation and arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with burial at a later date at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
