Richard J. Livingston, 85, formerly of West Middlesex, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Feb. 24, 2021.

He was born June 7, 1935 in Farrell, to Ralph and Helen Banick Livingston. Dick was a 1953 graduate of West Middlesex High School, where he was a member of the first golf team.

He proudly served his country in the Navy, where he retired as Yeoman 1st Petty Officer.
He met his wife of 64 years, Nancy Leas, at a bank in downtown Sharon while working as a teller.

Dick was employed with Ivor J. Lee Inc. for 43 years, retiring as vice president. He was a member of the Sharon Rotary Club and served on the board of directors of the Northwest Mechanical Contractors Association and served as chairman of Labor Committee for the joint apprentice training for Local Pipe Fitters Union #47. He was a member of Kedron Lodge #389, Scottish Rite Bodies of New Castle and Zem Zem Shriners.

Dick was an active member of the West Middlesex Presbyterian Church for over 50 years where he served on several boards. He loved playing golf, winning several tournaments, and especially enjoyed teaching and watching his best buddy, Ryan, win several tournaments.

As painful as it was, he endured numerous dance recitals for his daughters and granddaughter. He became a diehard follower of track and field, watching grandsons set many records and win state championships.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy; daughters, Kelly (Rod) Miller, Lori (Mark) Grundy; and four grandchildren, Ryan (Brittany) Miller, Karli (Edward) Evanko, Chad Grundy and Brock Grundy; three great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Aleia, and Eddie Evanko; and two sisters, Marilyn Felesky and Marjorie Shrawder.

Dick was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle who gave it all he had to the very end.

Brothers William and Fred Livingston, and sister June Bucciarelli preceded him in death.
His spirit of love and generosity will be felt by many for years to come. R.I.P., PaPa Dick.
