Robert Dale Small, 56, died unexpectedly on March 14, 2021. Robert's loss was completely unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply saddened

Robert was born to Eddie Lee Small and Ida Mae Small in Middletown, New York.

Predeceased by his mother, Ida Mae Small; brother Melvin King; and his sister Joyce King.

Survived by his daughters, Jasmine Small and Aneyia Small; grandchildren JaVonni and Messiah [Jasmine] Small; son Jacob Alberts; brothers and sisters, Marline King, Edward Small, Glorianne Small, Janet Small, Cheryl Denise Elmendorf and Charles Murchison; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Anyone who knew Robert, knew that he was kind, loving, brilliant, awesome, wonderful and had an immense passion for fishing, and was always a source of positivity. Robert's family and friends will miss him more than words can say.

A Graveside Memorial Service with Military Honors will take place May 5, 2021 at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, Virginia.
