"Herbert Edward Brown, age 87, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 3, 2021. "Bud" as he was known to all who loved him. He was born to Thomas Frank Brown and Laura Brown on May 28, 1934 in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was a veteran of the United State Army and proudly served in the Korean War as Military Police. Bud enjoyed eating breakfast and telling tall tales with all his friends at Gap Creek Market over the years.

Waiting in Heaven along with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is his special love, Thelma Hardin. Brothers and Sisters: Paul, Donald, Helen, Ruth, Joyce, and Zella Mae. Stepson Carl Loveday and Great Grandson William Fox.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Harold Brown, Donna Brown Cundiff and Terry. Stepchildren Tina Romines (Joe), Jeff Chandler (Teresa) and Scott Chandler. Bud spent his last years surround by love and happiness, being cared for by his very special granddaughter Tracie Romines. He is survived further by a host of grandchildren: Seadina Brown, Cory Brown, Vikki Fox Cooper (Tim), Chris Fox (Jennifer), Jason Fox (Sarah), Matt Romines (Angie), Brandy Chandler Cates, Carla, Lee (Brittany), Todd, Liston, Amber, Christopher (Carrie) Chandler. Bud was blessed with several great and great great grandchildren as well; surviving siblings include Imogene, Eugene, Charlie, and Bobbie.

Special thanks to Korey Terry (fiancée of Tracie Romines) for his love and care of Papaw. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Covenant Health Hospice (Ruby, Colleen and Cyndee) and caregivers Vonda Morris and Dee Dee from Anchorage Home Care.

There will be a graveside service honoring the life of Bud Brown at 3PM Friday, May 7, 2021 in Seven Islands Cemetery with Rev. Jason Carter officiating."
