Larry Joe Newton. Sr., the son of the late Carl and Doris Gaskins Newton was born March 30, 1964, in Hayti, MO.

Mr. Newton died Thursday, April 29, 2021, in Gideon, MO, at the age 57 years and 30 days.

He is survived by his children, Larry Joe Newton, Jr. of Gideon, Brittany Newton Smothers and husband, Jeff of Kennett, MO, Michelle Kelly of Clarkton, MO, Jason Stover and wife, Shauna also of Clarkton and Tiffany Allen of Gideon; 1 brother, Rickey Newton and wife, Yulonda of Mounds, IL; 9 grandchildren, Devin, Kaitlin, Madison, Jamison, Timothy, Haley, Tyler, Gage and Jace and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Henry Newton and Carl "Peanut" Newton and Linda Newton.

A visitation will be held at 12:00 P.M., Friday, May 7, 2021 at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services will follow in the chapel, with Brother Paul Karritti officiating. Burial will be in Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton.
