Tammy L. Craig, 49, of Carey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in her home at 4:50am on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

Born in Findlay on June 18, 1971, she was the daughter of Rollin D. Wentz and Helen L. Feasel. She became a "Smokin Hot Wife" when she married the love of her life, Jamie R. Craig, on November 4, 1995 at Grace United Methodist Church in Carey. Jamie survives in Carey along with their two daughters: Shelby (Russell) Phillips and Sara (Zach Boes) Craig both of Carey. She is also survived by her pride and joy, grandson, Jameson (Chunker Butt) Phillips; three sisters: Tina (Darren Olmstead) Wentz of Upper Sandusky, Elizabeth (James Mullens) Wentz of Galion and Pam Case of Carey, a brother, Michael Wentz of Carey and many nieces and nephews. There were many others who made Tammy's end of life experience more tolerable. Her best friend, Tracy (Fred) Niederkohr, was by her side to the end. She was also very grateful for her neighbors, Ron, Sue and DJ Crates, as well as, Bernie and Lauri Boes and Mike and Karen Phillips.

Tammy graduated from Carey High School in 1989 and earned an Associates Degree from Herzing University.

Being a grandmother to "Chunker Butt" was nothing but true joy to her. She also loved being a mom and wife. Her family meant the world to her and gave her strength to fight her four year battle with small intestinal cancer. She enjoyed attending her daughters' sporting events, shopping and hitting the casino on occasion.

Friends will be received 6 - 9pm on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, May 7, 2021, with Chaplain Steve Sturgeon officiating. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in Spring Grove Cemetery in Carey.
