Brian grew up on the family Dairy Farm in Cloverland, Wisconsin. Graduated from Northwestern High School and the University of Wisconsin-Superior with degrees in Fine Arts and Art Scenic Design. He designed scenes and backdrops for theater companies all over the country, along with designing exhibit spaces. He also did faux painting in many homes and businesses. He enjoyed painting and designing in many mediums even in his off time.
He has tree sisters, Mary, Janice, and Barbara and sister-in-law Gloria Plunkett; also brothers Calvin and Richard.
