Barbara passed away peacefully on
Saturday, April 24, 2021 in Kirkwood, Missouri. She lived 91 years in St. Louis and during that time was happily married to Charles F. Stephens Jr. for fifty-six years.

She is survived by her four children (and their spouses); Dan (Carol), Christy {John), Lisa (Mike) and Caroline (Nick),
plus thirteen grandchildren and 5 great­ grandchildren.

Barbara embraced life with love, joy and grace. She wholeheartedly
loved her family and dedicated herself to them comple tely. She was a shining light whose heart, smile and easy laugh filled up everyone she encountered with love and joy. Her ability to connect with people was inspiring. When you were with her, she connected in a way that made you feel special, like you were the only one in the room. She saw beauty in everyone and everything and always left each place a little better after being there. She was a storyteller, dancer, avid reader, animal lover, voracious bridge player and golfer. Her exuberance for life and all that it brings lives on in her family and those she touched .
