Mr. Richard Maxwell Page, 78 passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Duke Raleigh Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Reverend Roy Johnson officiating. The burial will follow at Fount Autry Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 2:50 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mr. Page was a native of Sampson County, the son of Braxton and Opal Barefoot Page. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Delores Page, two sisters, Mildred Page and Mary Bowling, and two brothers, Glenwood Page and Alfonza Page.

He was a retired maintenance manager with DTH.

He is survived by his son, Mark Page of Dunn; daughter, Debbie Page Avery and husband, Ron of Coats; granddaughter, Caylon Avery of Coats; two sisters, Ruby Lee and Mila Matthews all of Dunn; and his brother, Arron Page of Dunn.
