John M. Sharpe entered into the kingdom of Heaven on December 7, 2014 at the age of 74.
John is survived by his wife of 52 years, Myra Sharpe; his two loving sons, Mark Sharpe (Kimberly), Keenan Sharpe (Marika); 4 grandchildren, Jackson, Morgan, Harper, and Maggie; two brothers, Michael Sharpe, and Terry Sharpe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
John was born on May 15, 1940 in Lake City, Tennessee to Carl W. Sharpe "John" and Aliene Nelson Sharpe. He graduated from Lake City High school in 1959. John graduated from The University of Tennessee in 1965. He married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Myra Lee Turner, in 1962. John and his family moved to the Atlanta area in 1978. John was a Vice President and part owner of Millar Electronics for 25 years. John was passionate about spending time with his family, watching Tennessee football, and woodworking projects around his home. John and his wife Myra are charter members of Sacred Tapestry Church in Marietta, Georgia.
John's Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday December 10th at Northside Chapel 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell GA 30075. Visitation will be held from 11:00am-12:00pm. The service will begin at 12pm. A reception will be held immediately following the service at the Sharpe family home 3640 Shelby Lane Marietta, Georgia 30062.
