Ms. Hall was a native and resident of Lafayette for more than 30 years. A devoted medical professional, she served the Acadiana community as a wound care nurse and a nurse to the elderly for the entirety of her career. She was also a talented artist. Trudy was an angel on earth to all around her. Her loving and nurturing heart will be missed tremendously by those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Survivors include her husband, Kirby Devalcourt; her mother, Mayonia "Monie" Hall of Lafayette; her stepfather, Timothy Decoux; her children, Ronald "Joby" Boyer, II, Gary A. Staton, Kaleb Devalcourt, Haily Devalcourt, Madison Devalcourt; her grandchildren, Kayden Boyer, Sage Boyer, Logan Berard, Landon Berard, Christian Trahan, Averi Boyer and Adali Boyer; one brother, Duane M. Hall of Plattsburg, NY; and one sister, Rondelle Gonzalez of Juneau, AL.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred F. Hall Jr.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Sunday.
