David E. Anthony, 69, of Buffalo Township, passed away at home, Sunday, May 2, 2021 following a two-year illness.

He was born October 9, 1952 in Harrison Township to the late E. Verne and Loretta (Brewer) Anthony.

David has lived the past 9 years in Buffalo Township and prior to that Natrona Heights. He was a former member of First United Presbyterian Church, Tarentum and a 1970 graduate of Highlands High School. He attended Forbes Road east for metallurgy and started as a journeyman printer at the Valley Daily News in 1971 and retired from there in 2017 from the IT department. He was also the drummer with popular area band, Sunrise in the 1970's-80's. Anthony was an avid reader and enjoyed his family.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Elsie A. (McCombs) Anthony; sons Mark David (Sharlett) Anthony and Kevin Eric Anthony, and daughters Michele (Paul) Feder and Erin (Jeffrey) Popynia; 9 grandchildren, brother, Donald (Judy) Anthony, of Lower Burrell and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Glen Anthony.
