Sue Todd was reunited with the love of her life on April 7, 2021, after a long battle with Parkinson's.

She was born August 16, 1949, to Gene and Bettye Duffy, the middle child after her brother, David, and before her sister, Trish. She graduated from Klamath Union High School in 1967, turned 18 that summer, and three days later married Robert Todd on Aug. 19. They immediately drove to Maryland, where Rob was stationed with the U.S. Navy. They spent five years traveling to duty stations in Maryland, Idaho Falls, San Diego and San Francisco.

The couple eventually returned to Klamath Falls and started a family in 1977, welcoming son Ben, and then daughter Angela. Sue worked at a bank, St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Cascade Auto Group, Herald and News newspaper and Klamath Family Practice. She was always a favorite at each job, often sought out for her sage advice.

She and Rob raised their two children and, later, two of their grandchildren. She loved being a sports mom, following the teams and supporting them. She could be relied on to have extra snacks in the cooler and often brought Angie and her teammates hot chocolate in the mornings at tournaments. She was affectionately known as Mama Sue.

She enjoyed fishing, bowling, crafting, spending time with family and drinking wine. She never failed to have a pot of coffee on, and she'd drop everything when people would stop by the house and just "do the visit."

She loved taking her grandkids on walkabouts, gardening with them and telling them stories. She was their biggest fan! Her knowledge and remembrance of family history and facts was super impressive. She was proud of her Irish heritage, had a heart for veterans and loved her pets. Her numerous nieces and nephews adored her.

In 2000, Rob was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. Sue was with him every step of the way, caring for him until he passed in March 2004.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother.

Sue is survived by her son Ben (Jodi) Todd; daughter Angie (Stan) Miller; sister Trish (Bob) Salvati; sister in-law Brenda Duffy; grandchildren Sierra (Trent) Childers, Benny (Karli) Todd, Teagan Miller, Blake Miller, Penelope Miller, Wade Miller and Eve Bauer; great-grandchildren Avery Childers, Jayden Todd and Alaya Todd; numerous nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends Vern and Gail Devenport.
