James W. Erdmann
KAUKAUNA - James W. Erdmann, age 87, died peacefully on Monday, February 15, 2021, at The Landings of Kaukauna Memory Care.

He was born July 30, 1933 in Sherwood, WI, son of the late William and Meta (Parpart) Erdmann.

Jim graduated from Kaukauna High School and then served his Country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict from 1953-1955. Hemarried Betty Drace on December 30, 1968. She preceded him in death in 2005.

Jim worked for the Milwaukee Road Railway from 1952 until retiring in 1998. He also en- joyed being a part time farmer. His passions were hunting, horses, mules and his farm. Jim was a 67 year member of the American Legion Post 496 of Sherwood and a life member of the Broken Wheel Riding Club of Appleton.

Jim was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Sherwood for many years.

Survivors include his nieces and nephews: Richard (Gayle) Kuzenski, Thomas (Linda) Kuzenski, Gerald Kuzenski, Judy (Bruce) Brahe, Linda (Arty) Brody, Ruth Erdmann, Janet (Joe) Tworkowski, William (Muriel) Erdmann and Leslie Erdmann. Jim was preceded in death by his siblings: Clarence (Marie) Erdmann, William (Ruth) Erdmann Jr., Awanda (Lester) Kuzenski; and a nephew,Donald (Ruth) Kuzenski.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Jim at a later date. Interment will be in Portland Cemetery in Chilton. The family would like to thank the staff of the Landings of Kaukauna and Compassus Hospice for the kindness they showed Jim.
