Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2021 at Midway Cemetery, Sumrall for Mrs. Betty Jean Cole, age 85, who passed from this life April 22, 2021. Bro. Robert Cole will officiate with burial following.
Mrs. Cole was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Her life long love was her family and her sewing and quilting buddies. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Rupert and Louviana Cook; brothers, Rupert Edwin Cook, Irvin Cook, William Herbert Cook, Winford Henry Cook, Harwood Paul Cook, Kenneth Leon Cook and Willie Jim Cook.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Ray Cole, of 67 years, of Columbia; son, Winford Ray (Peggy) Cole of Columbia; grandson, Robert Ray (Jinger) Cole of Columbia; great-grandchildren, Remington Ray Cole and Kason James Cole; sister, Maude Ella Buxton of Canyonville, OR; and a host of nieces and nephews.
