Kyle Harrison Johnson
SEPTEMBER 2, 1985 – NOVEMBER 23, 2020

Obituary of Kyle Harrison Johnson
Kyle Harrison Johnson, 35, of Jacksonville, Florida born September 2, 1985 went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 23rd, 2020. Kyle attended Hendricks Avenue Elementary School and The Greenwood School. He graduated from Greenwood in 2003. Kyle grew up in the San Marco area where he played T-Ball and Little League at HAB, and was both a Cub Scout and Boy Scout at Troop # 35 at Southside United Methodist Church. Kyle was an active member in the Southside Methodist Youth Program, and the Youth Choir, which created many wonderful memories of his childhood. Whether it was unloading pumpkins at the Pumpkin Patch, ski trips to West Virginia and North Carolina, or traveling to England to sing on behalf of the church, Kyle was always there to add a little levity and excitement to the events. Kyle also loved to hunt and fish with is Dad, Uncles and cousins with some very memorable trips to Primland, VA for pheasant, Brays Island for bass and quail, and Islamorada for dolphin. Following High School, Kyle began a career in mortgage banking at Florida Bank Mortgage, and most recently at Florida Capital Bank Mortgage where he was a Secondary Market Analyst. All of the people who had the opportunity to meet and know Kyle loved him. He was a funny, loving, compassionate young man who will be sorely missed by his friends and family.

Kyle is survived by his parents, Mark and Debbie Johnson, his Aunts and Uncles: Kelly and Bonnie Johnson of Birmingham AL, Philips and Marty Johnson of Roswell GA, Barry and Elaine Akin of Jacksonville, Dianne and Tony Lott of Jacksonville, Brenda Greengrass of Peachtree GA, and cousins Travis, Philips and Ty Johnson, Leighton and Ryan Harbuck, Barry, Jennifer, Nick and Whitney Akin, Tony Yonge and Beth Greengrass. He was preceded in death by his cousin, Christopher Johnson, and his Aunt Linda Yonge.
