Betty K. Steele (nee Wehrle), 87, of Alexandria, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at The Seasons of Alexandria. Betty was born in Dayton, KY on February 14, 1934 to her late parents, John and Lillian (nee Jones) Wehrle. She was a retired legal secretary. Betty and her late husband Harry loved working on their farm in Alexandria. They had many animals and Betty enjoyed her horses the most. She enjoyed participating in local horse shows as well as show jumping and hunter class events. Betty also loved country line dancing. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Steele; parents, John and Lillian Wehrle; sister, Vera Wilz; brother, Larry Wehrle. She is survived by her dear friends, Jerry and Tina Koch, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Alexandria Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 10:00 AM with Reverend Michael Sweeney officiating. Covid-19 restrictions apply, masks are required. Interment will follow in Saint Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas.
