Grace Harris-Jones, 86, of Shannon, North Carolina, passed away on April 30, 2021 peacefully at her home.
She was born on January 25, 1935 in Robeson County.
Grace was a faithful member of Bethel Hill Baptist Church. She was employed as a cafeteria worker for 33 years at Piney Grove School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Jones; her parents, Johnnie Harris and Flora Jane Harris; two brothers, Alford Duckery and Johnnie Harris, Jr.; and a sister, Katherine Harris.
Grace is survived by four sons: James Jones (Lorna) of Shannon, Jackie Jones (Carlene) of Shannon, Billy Jones of Lumberton, and Bobby Jones (Traci) of Tallahassee, FL; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three sisters: Gearldine Revels of Lumberton, Sally Huggins of Lumberton, and Carolyn Goins of Fayetteville; a brother, James F. Harris of Lumberton; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The funeral services will be held in Bethel Hill Baptist Church in Lumberton, NC 28360. The burial services will be held at Bethel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Lumberton, NC 28360.
