Sharon Cocke Reed

Sharon, age 75, of Dickson, TN died April 30, 2021 at Tri-Star Centennial Medical Center after a short stay.

She was born in Dickson County, daughter of the late William Chester (Pappy) and Doris Elaine Woodard Cocke. She was retired from Nashville Wire where she was a supervisor. Sharon was a graduate of the William James High School in White Bluff, TN and a member of the Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy.

Her life was always surrounded by her Pappy and her family. It mainly involved a lifetime of church and Sunday family dinners.

Survivors include her three children, Burgess Kevin Reed and his wife, Mary Grace of Dickson, TN, Karon Elaine Reed of Dickson, TN and Kristen Greer and her husband, Smiley of Dickson, TN, her four grandchildren, Burgess Andrew Reed, John Perry Reed, Blake Greer and Lainey Reed, several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy. Pastor Gary Riley will officiate. Place of rest will be in the Nosegay Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Monday, May 3rd from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday beginning at 12 Noon until time of service.

Those desiring, memorials are suggested to the Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy or to the Nosegay Cemetery Fund.
