Emily N. Gunnell, 100 Last Autumn, Burial Tomorrow
Emily Nelson Gunnell, widow of the late Leonard Coleman Gunnell of Georgetown section of Washington, D.C., and Bush Hill in Fairfax County, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, at the home of her daughter in Alexandria.
Mrs. Gunnell was born in the Shanghair, China, 100 years ago, on Sept. 20, 1869. She was the great-granddaughter of Thomas Nelson of Yorktown, a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
