Singer. He was best known as a member of the 1980s popular Puerto Rican boy group Menudo. In 1983, he substituted for Xavier Serbia in the group Menudo and became a part of their golden era. He went on to record four albums with the group and be a part of their appearances on both television and magazines. In 1985, he was forced off the group due to a growth spurt and year later, released a solo album. In 1988, he joined two other former Menudo group members, Rene Farrait and Johnny Lozada, in a new group Proyecto M. They became popular in Puerto Rico and Venezuela. In 1997, he, along with numerous other former Menudo members, took part in a reunion concert named El Reencuentro in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He went on to produce their album El Reencuentro: 15 Anos Despues, which became gold-certified.
