Bell, Brian D. 8/28/1937 - 4/29/2021 Was born on August 28, 1937 in Jackson, Michigan and passed into eternal life, peacefully, on April 29, 2021, after a courageous battle with Cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip A. Bell and Thelma D. Bell and his first wife Barbara L. Bell. He is survived by their four children; Kimberly L. (David) Kloack, David M. (Marilou) Bell, Susan L. (John) Kaplinski and Michael B. (Kristi) Bell. He had six grandchildren Jason (Jordon) Kloack, Brian (D'shara) Kloack, Jenna (Alex) Webster, Michael (Anessa) Kaplinski, and Megan and Lauren Bell and six great grandchildren, Piper and Calvin Webster, Nora and Aiden Kaplinski and Antwon and Gracelynn Kloack. Brian is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Sharon L. Bell and her two sons, Kevin (Lori) Sims, Craig (Amy) Sims and her three grandchildren, Karlee (Cody) Sims, Kamryn Sims and Skyler Sims and Sharon's sister and brother-in-law Sue (Bill) Jones. He graduated from Jackson High School in 1955, Albion College 1959 and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University. He began his career in Banking in 1959 at City Bank and Trust Company which become CB Financial Corporation where he retired as President and CEO in 1997. He served on the Alro Steel Board from 1977 to 2021. He served on the Board of W.A. Foote Memorial Hospital and served as President of the Jackson Chamber of Commerce, President of the Country Club of Jackson and served on the Michigan Banker's Association Executive Committee. During his busy career and raising a family and his love for golf, he found time to be able to proclaim, the fact that he had achieved 9 "holes in one". He was a member of the Queen of the Miraculous Medal Parish where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 7, at 11:30 AM with Father Timothy MacDonald as Celebrant. The family will receive friends at the Church one hour prior to the service. Private Interment at Roseland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of sending flowers, contributions may be made in Brian's memory to Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church, Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home or charity of your choice. The family would especially like to extend their deepest gratitude for the outstanding care and compassion shown to Brian and the family by the following providers and their staff; Dr. David Halsey, Dr. Malcolm Trimble, Dr. Annette Kretzler, Dr. Jon Lake, Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home.
