Danny Marshall Spicer, 68 of McCaskill, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, April 27, 2021. He was born July 25, 1952 in Nashville, Arkansas to Luther and Marie Spicer. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Annie Marie Morton, and one brother, Eugene Spicer.Danny was a Blevins High School graduate, Class of 1970. He was a truck driver for Hudson and Tyson Foods with over 3 million accident-free miles driven.Danny was a member of the congregation at Friendship United Methodist Church and a regular attendee at Avery's Chapel United Methodist Church. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, and bush hogging. He loved his family, friends, cats, and his John Deere tractor.Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, Mary Jo Spicer, his son Eddie (Farrah) Spicer, his daughter Mandy Spicer, his grandchildren Marshall Spicer, and Hayden Hicks, one sister Katie Norwood and numerous nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Friendship Cemetery Fund, 328 Hempstead 269, McCaskill, Arkansas 71847, or Avery's Chapel Cemetery Fund, 194 Hempstead 284, McCaskill, Arkansas 71847.Services willbe Friday, April 30, 2021 at 10:00 am at Friendship United Methodist Church with Joe Miller and Gene Ross officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Nashville Funeral Home on Thursday night from 6-8 pm.
