Services for Mary Ruth Cotton, 98, of Whitehouse will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 11:00 am at Whitehouse Church of Christ with Chris Detkos officiating.
Burial will follow at Whitehouse cemetery in Whitehouse under the direction of Jackson's Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home.
Mary Ruth Cotton passed away on Wednesday April 27th, 2021 at her Home with Hospice of East Texas.
Mary Ruth Cotton was born February 10, 1923 in Concord TX to Charley and Ada Sharp.
Ruth Cotton, who was preceded in death by All of her Brothers and Sisters including the Love of her Life Willie Ray Cotton, went to meet Jesus our Lord and Savior on April 27, 2021. She was a Homemaker and an Excellent Seamstress. She and Daddy enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling together.
Ruth is survived by Robin Morris, daughter, Jason Morris, grandson and wife Alisha Morris and great grandchildren Gage and Beckett. Nicole Morris Howard, granddaughter, and husband Patrick Howard and greatgrandchildern Seth Garrett and Sassy.
Ruth is also survived by Stephen Cotton, son and Alicia Cotton Illetschko, granddaughter and husband Jimmy Illetschko and great grandchildren Mason and Shea Illetschko, Weston Cotton, grandson, Marie Cotton, granddaughter, Bonnie Cotton Fields, granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Jason Morris, Patrick Howard, Weston Cotton, Michael EriKsson, Doug Yates, Daniel Dupree
