Son of Joseph & Antoinette Di Thomas Marzie. Louis, who resided at 312 Cedar Street, Wilmington, Delaware, served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He was killed when his plane exploded over Nubieber, California while enroute from Pocatello, Idaho to Hamilton Field, near San Francisco. He had served in the Air Corps for eleven months at the time of his death. His brother, Jesse Joseph Marzie, also died of wounds received in Guam during the war.
