Mrs. Annette Kennedy, 59, 932 S. Webster Ave., died Friday in Mercy Hospital where she was admitted Oct. 3 as a medical patient. She was the wife of Robert J. Kennedy, retired U.S. Postal employee.

A city native, daughter of the late August and Agnes Phillips Ritterbeck, she was employed the past 11 years as the secretary to the business manager of the Scranton School District. She was graduated from St. Mary's High School and was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church and its Altar-Rosary Society. She also was a member of the American Business Women's Association.

Also surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Patricia McDermott, Scranton; Mrs. Kathleen Price, Mountaintop; and Mrs. Karen Leondi, Newton Twp.; two sons, Robert and John, both of Scranton; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Thorne, Clarks Summit; Miss Marion Ritterbeck, Scranton, and Mrs. Nancy McDowell, Dale City,
Va.; a brother, Robert P. Ritterbeck, Daleville; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Monday at 9 a.m. from Arthur E. and Brian A. Strauch Funeral Home, 602 Birch St., with mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.
