He was born July 24, 1945 in Peru to Ellis & Iris Angle. He married Lisa (Schrock) Angle on Feb. 14, 2011.
Surviving are his wife, Lisa, Goshen, son, Shannon Angle, Fort Wayne, sister, Ruth Angle, Manchester, grandchildren, Brennon & Maddie, step-daughters, Mylinh Wright and Kimberly (Eddie) Green, both of Goshen, 5 step-grandsons and 1 step-granddaughter. Preceding him in death are his parents, son, Jason Angle, 1 sister and 3 brothers.
Phillip was a 1963 graduate of Peru High School, a member of the Goshen Moose and the New Paris Tractor Club. He was retired from Sprint Telephone where he worked as a line pole worker and attended Yellow Creek Mennonite Church.
