Lost to gun violence on April 27, 2021 in Smyrna, Delaware.

With a sad heart we say goodbye to a devoted, caring, loving and generous mother, daughter, sister, and friend Stephanie Gill, age 38, of Smyrna, Delaware who was taken from us on Tuesday, April 27, 2021.

Stephanie grew up in Brooklyn, New York and lived in Harlem, New York for several years before settling in Delaware.

Stephanie worked in retail and loved to shop. She was known for her funny, vibrant, charismatic, beautiful, and bold personality. All who knew her were blessed to experience the joy and happiness she possessed.

She is survived by her daughters, Brianna Taylor and Samara Gill; sons, Kalel Gill and Tristan Gill; mother, Wanda Ayala and step-father, Melvin Cruz; sisters, Jennifer Cruz and Amy Cruz; brothers, Joel Santana, Kabian Mathis, Francis Williams, and Leon Dozier; and grandmother, Maria Brioni. She is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many childhood friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 1pm to 2pm in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main Street in Smyrna. Memorial services will begin at 2pm.
