"CHRISTOPHER WOMAN DIES; RITES SLATED Mrs. Julia Butkovich, 76, of 402 Ellen Ave., Christopher, died at 2:15 a.m. Saturday in Miners Hospital, Christopher. She had been ill five months. She was a resident of Franklin County for 50 years.
She was born in Yugoslavia/Croatia on Feb. 2, 1887. She was received on a life, the daughter of Tom and Mary sentence Feb. 24, 1927, at Men-Grznaich (??).
She was a member of St Andrew's Catholic Church.

She leaves behind husband Thomas (Tom) {whom she married 7 Nov 1907}, sons Walter of Detroit, Mich., Anthony of Lafayette, Colo., and George Joseph stationed in the U. S. Air Force in England; daughters, Mrs. Mary Hoesel of Chicago, Mrs. Albena Charleton of Shawneetown: 13 grandchildren: nine great-grandchildren; and brothers Matt Grzanich of Bryant and Charlie Grzanich of Dunfermline in Fulton County.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew's Catholic Church."
