Actress. She was best known to film viewers as May Wynn, the love interest of Robert Francis' character in the 1954 film classic "The Caine Mutiny." Born Donna Lee Hickey, she started as a showgirl at the famed Copacabana nightclub at the age of 17. She later signed a contract with 20th Century Fox and moved to Los Angeles. Her film debut came in the 1952 film "Dreamboat." Besides "The Caine Mutiny," she went on to appear in such films as "The Farmer Takes a Wife," (1953) "The Violent Men," (1955) "The Unknown Terror," and "Hong Kong Affair." (1958) She adopted the name May Wynn after the character she played in "The Caine Mutiny." In 1955, she made her television debut on the program "The Ford Television Theatre." She later appeared in such series as "The Bob Cummings Show," "The Restless Gun," "Noah's Ark," "The Millionaire," and "Shotgun Slade." After leaving show business in 1960, she went into the real estate business. She also served as a school aide at her local church in Newport Beach, California.
