Obituary for Carla Jean Wright
Carla Jean Wright, age 51, of 406 Davis Street, Clarksburg, WV died at her
residence at 2:29 A.M. on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 following a brief illness.
She was born in Clarksburg, WV, October 9, 1953 a daughter of the late
Carl J. Wright and Wanda L. Dean Wright.
Surviving are, five sisters, Mrs. Homer (Danalda) Barker, Good Hope, WV,
Linda L. Greathouse, Stealey Section of Clarksburg, WV, Brenda S. Haynes,
West Milford, WV, Vicki Harbert, Stealey, Clarksburg, WV, Robin Osborne
& Steven, Fulton, Ohio, nine nephews and nieces, six great nephews
and nieces.
In addition to her parents, Carla Wright was also preceded in death by a
sister, Pamela L. Wright and a nephew, Dennis L. Hinkle, Jr.
She was Baptist by faith and a graduate of Victory High School, Class of 1971.
She had been employed as a clerk at People's News in downtown Clarksburg.
Friends may call at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main Street,
Clarksburg from 4:00 P.M. til 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, where a funeral service
will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Paul Glaspell
presiding. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Masonic Cemetery. Memorial
contributions may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association,
WV Affiliate, P.O. Box 115, Dunbar, WV 25064.
